Happy Sunday! Kind of funny that I am going to talk about Church in my reading today. And, today is Sunday. Usual church day. Anyway, come on let's dive in!
1st of all let me begin by asking a few things. Some questions just to start getting your mind thinking. Here goes. Got your thinking cap on?
Are you one that goes to church?
Ok, for those who said yes, you do go to church? I would like to ask you why. Yeah? Why do you go to church?
Is it because you really want to? You look forward to the fellowship you will have with the other people you will see that also chose to go to church? Or, perhaps it is because you are really looking forward to hearing the message from the speaker?
I know! Is it because you are excited to go meet with someone you can be a blessing to? Or, meet with someone who can bless you! All those reasons I mentioned are pretty legit and awesome reasons to want to go to church!
Now, I want to mention some not-so-good reasons. Maybe you just want to go because you have some prayer needs. And, you think God will only hear you when you go to a church and pray.
Or, you go to church to make yourself look Goodto either people down here on Earth? Or, You think going to church will give you more points will go to heaven w after you die?
The lastc bad reason amongst many others is this. Folks are we going to church just to be entertained? If so? That's not good. Folks, Folks you are to listen to the words worship through the words of the songs played usuall are all about praising Jesus! Focus on that and not the outside noise!
