Have you guys ever thought about your priorities? Like, do you have an order to those priorities. Let me share what I mean.
Let's take 2 examples. For my 1st example, I want to look at a non-Christian. Then for my 2nd example, we will look at a Christian and how their priorities are.
Example 1 remember is a non-Christian. So, I am pretty sure. Nope, it won't be surprising to find out that God would not be number one on their priority list. Right? Why would a person that doesn't believe in God have God as #1 on their list of priorities?
I am thinking they wouldn't. They would probably have their spouse. Or boyfriend or girlfriend, or parents or children or work or whomever. Just not God.
Now, if we look at an example priority list from a Christian believer? Then, I will be confident that their number one priority would be God. Well, no I can't say that.I shouldn't say that pll because I know everyone is different.
So, that means even Christians may not even see God as their #1 priority. I'm pretty sure that's how God would like to be prioritized by all of his children. But, he knows we all have free will. So, he knows he may not get what he wants. And, I guess he understands. He knows it is what it is.
I just became mindful of one of the 10 commandments. The 1 about idols/no other God's before me.
Check out my Deep Thoughts. Friends, when he said any gods before me? He is referring to God as any person, place, thing, idea, thought, deep thought, or anything. Anything we are giving 1st priority to!
God is a jealous God. That means when we give priority to someone or something else above God? Then he will get mad. So mad and so jealous!
No, Yeah I never really thought about that before either. I just thought (Oh ok, I'm good. Don't have ( Any gods before Oh no, I only worship Jesus. ) Oh Friends, Is God your number one priority?
I once heard from Tony Evans that "God will not compete for our attention." Friends, are you making him feel like he needs to?
Don't you feel bad about that? Because, well I don't think we have to make him feel that he needs to compete for our attention.
I guess the question is what about you guys? How do you prioritize things in your life? Do you have God as number one? Do you even know God? Perhaps, maybe that is 1st the question you should really pay more attention to answering?
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.
For the Lord your God in your midst is a jealous God—lest the anger of the Lord your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth
