Good morning friends from all over the world! Let me start my writing by asking a few questions. I know it's not like I'm gonna get the answer from you guys. This is imperative to the writing. So, just hear me out.
My 1st question is do you like the president of your country in which you live? So, if you were from the United States? Then the question would be do you like President Trump? If your country is the Philippines then, I wanna ask if you like Rodrigo Duterte. Do you like the president of Brazil? Jair Bols Anaro?
Nope, it's not like I knew any of those names by heart. Don't be fooled. I had to ask my handy dandy trustworthy Lady GA (Google Assistant) for some help with that.
Now, my next question is for you people that are in the workforce. Do you listen to your boss? Do you like/ not like your boss? Or, maybe do you like your boss too much?
These are some important questions. There are definitely more people that would be considered your authority figures. However, those are all I'm going to mention. I will include a link that will speak more about them.
Now, what's on my mind? I guess, No I'm really thinking that God is pretty passionate about following Authority Figures!
1 Corinthians 7:4
The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.
It makes sense. I mean, He says in His word that we have to follow him before anyone else. Remember, he is a jealous God!
So, yeah back to my questions I mentioned earlier. Do we like the president of a certain country? Maybe we do sometimes? Or, maybe we don't at all?
However, member it's not about feelings. It's about being obedient. And, God wants us to follow authority. There really is no ifs ands or buts about it. We just have to do it.
I totally see Jesus Christ as a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Don't you think that he probably was so scared and? He probably did not feel like dying on the cross! He probably might have thought about oversleeping that day! Just staying in bed quarantined at home for like ever.
Jesus was human with human feelings. Remember that. So, he totally did not have to die for us. But, He chose to!
He probably told himself, " Alright-Jesus! No turning back now! Gotta listen to Dad! I know it's gonna hurt, but this is for the whole world. And, I love the world!" Then punched his chest and loudly exclaimed, " Lets Do This! Then, he quickly ran out the door!
Lol, Remember I just totally made that up. Who knows maybe that
is exactly what happened. Remember anything is possible!
All that matters is that Jesus Followed his authority. And he died On that cross! He did ask his dad before
if he can skip death. However, he did say to his dad not his will But the father's will be done.

Let's read some Bible verses!
Luke 22:21-22
But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table. The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed. But woe to that man who betrays him!”
Hebrews 13:1
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage
Romans 13:1
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience.
Hebrews 13:17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
Romans 13:2
Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
No matter what, God is the supreme authority. So if one of the other authorities under Him contradict God, we MUST go with God. He never makes mistakes!
