Betrayal

I am pretty sure that you listeners out there have once in your life felt betrayed by someone. And, to those out there who have never felt that? I say that's awesome! And, good for you! Me, however, would not be able to join you there because I have felt betrayed.

What is coming to mind are 2 ways of betrayal. The 1st thing is the betrayal of Judas. Jesus probably felt so betrayed by what Judas did. He knew Judas was going to betray him. He did say something the night before He was crucified and died for us.

The 2nd thing is kind of a stretch.
I mean it really is a deep thought. Some of us in a way have also Betrayed Jesus!

I am thinking of people who are disobedient to Jesus. I am thinking of the people who do not believe in Jesus. That is the ultimate betrayal!

My GA defines betray as: expose (one's country, a group, or a person) to danger by treacherously giving information to an enemy. (Would not you guys say that can of be what Judas did?)
