Power In The Name Of Jesus

Play for the Audio Version

The name "Jesus Christ" is a pretty well known popular name. Even, the other name he goes by, God. That's pretty popular too. Usually, preceded 1st by the words Oh and My.

Some say it to accentuate a sense of surprise about something. Saying it like that is just  sometimes saying His name in vain. Definitely not what He wants you to do. Please think about how your heart is at that time.

Seriously, considering a number of people don't even believe in the name, Jesus? It's a pretty popular name that some people really do like to say. Most times in a negative way. Some people really like to butcher the name of Jesus! You know what I mean?

The name Jesus is so popular and used by some people in the worst ways. Some like to include His parents' name too! And, may again say the sentence in vain, Jesus, Mary, Joseph!

Or, in the Filipino language (Tagalog), the often said phrase by some Filipinos would be. "Susmaryosep!"   Again, not necessary to say.

My GA said this."An exclamation of shock, surprise, or exasperation"
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Don't sneak up on me like that—you scared me half to death!"

Ok, well this morning I learned there is definitely  power in the name of Jesus! I mean just the fact that people would care to even acknowledg his name in both positive and negative ways.

As a Christ follower, I definitely see that there is power in the name of Jesus! Jesus is the name Above any name.

Because of what the Lord Jesus Crist did for us, there is power in the name of Jesus! If you have trusted and put your faith in Jesus, then you too will feel His power!

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
