We Don't Have Any!

There are times I have considered myself to being a perfectionist. I know in my heart it is a very wrong thing to aim for perfectionism. I see the disastrous attitude it is in other people. And, apparently the Lord wanted me to write about this today because he led me to the topic.
Perfectionists strive for things to go exactly the way they want them to go. And, sorry to disappoint you folks. But things don't always turn out that way. Did you all know that? Or, maybe you did all know that, you just forget that sometimes? You don't want to believe it? I don't know what you guys think.

All I know is that we need to stop aiming for perfection and feel content or settle for excellence! Seriously, friends remember to just feel satisfied and really content with what you're able to put in or contribute to

I received some good advice a while ago, that I always seem to forget. And, forgetting these words always gets me in trouble! That is, " Don't try to do something about what you can't control! Don't worry about what you can't control!" We just need to give it to God. We need to trust He's got everything under control! We don't!

"Perfectionists are overly critical of themselves and constantly concerned about what others think of them. It leads to a fear of failure and making mistakes. It can lead to depression, anxiety and missed opportunities."  ( 1 year Bible)

Proverbs 25:28 ESV / 15

A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.

Romans 13:4 ESV / 13

For he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.

Galatians 5:22-23 ESV /

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
