D-Word Series Part 51: Falling

Have there ever been times when  something like this would happen? Seriously, it's like you would suddenly end up in a daze. Let me
elaborate more and try to be more clear by taking myself for an example.

OK, so just out of nowhere something like this may happen. I end up just staring at my husband for a little bit. I find myself mesmerized by his physical and mental characteristics. 

What about Joe made me fall in love with him? What is going through my thought process right now is how his mind works sometimes? And, if you all could see me now? You would see different facial expressions. Thinking about various situations and reactions he may have.

Him and HIS Foine-Sellf!" Uh oh! Mmmn! You spouses know what I'm talking about! Just look at your spouse! Friend, you were not stupid when you chose to say, "I do" to that
Fine A$$ specimen you call your life partner! So, that was my little example of falling in something. Get it? Falling in love with Joe.

Now, I'm going to flip the script and talk about falling out of something.
Of course, what is coming to mind has something to do with God! Fellow born again christians you may know or you may not know what I am about to tell you.

Wow, when you 1st fell in love with God, that was all fine and dandy! It was like you were on cloud 9, and looking forward to walking the streets of gold! You want to see Jesus face-to-face! You are going to spend eternity together!

You're happy, because you are  assured of your Salvation and wouldn't have to spend eternity in hell. Cool Beans!

Now, I am quickly going to go from Night to Day, for the writing for the day. So to speak.What I mean is talking about something positive and awesome to quickly changing the subject to something negative not so good. But, quite bad!

I have some deep thoughts regarding the end times. Did you all know that one of the signs are people falling away from the faith? Do I believe we are in the end times now? Personally? Yes, I do! Why do I say that? Well, God clearly states in His word what happens and what goes on in the end times. And, it's not my place to go into specifics.  Good way to recommend to you read The Bible

Wh, I will say this. Much of what I read about in the Bible is coming to life on Earth. Now! 

Well, let me end writing with words from God and then Greg Laurie. Finally God again.

Jeremiah 3:22, God says, “Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings” (NKJV).

We need to be on guard against this, because the Bible says that one of the signs of the last days will be people falling away from the faith. We wantto be very careful that we don’t become those people..

1 John 5: 11-12

And this is the testemony, God Has given us eternal life, and this life is in his son. He who has The son Has life come he who does the in the Son of God does not have life.

1 Timothy 4:1

The Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

Hebrews 3:12-19

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Revelation 2:4-5

But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

2 Corinthians 11:3

But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

2 Peter 2:20-22

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”

Matthew 24:10-13

And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to will be saved.
