The Candy Bar

Play for the Audio Version

I have A loved one. Oh wow, would you look at that? I haven't shared a loved one story in a while.

Anyway, as I was saying, I have a loved one. 1st of all, we all know that even if nobody down here saw what was done? The man upstairs AKA, God, saw exactly what one did. God sees everything!

My loved one remembered a story of something she did from way back when she was a little girl. That was this. When she went to the grocery store ine time with her mother she was getting a candy bar. I don't really remember specifics. There was a big problem though.

She did not tell her mom. The important part is she did not tell her mom. So, the mother and daughter were in the car and the daughter was about to eat the candy bar. But, the mom was so mad, because ahe knew that she did not pay for the candy bar.

So, the mother and the daughter went back in the grocery store. The mother made her daughter give the candy bar she stole back. So, when the daughter told them what she had done and gave back the candy bar,  they were actually quite forgiving and appreciated her honesty.

They had told my loved one that she would be able to keep the candy bar. So, she kept it. Well no, more like her mother kept it.

When the mother and daughter returned home, the mother split that candy bar up. She gave a piece to each of the 5 or 7 other kids.

My loved one said that was the worst ever because the siblings were taunting her and licking their fingers and making my loved one mad.

Apparently, this incident really left like a damaging mental scar for my loved one. Kids can be so mean sometimes! I wonder if my loved one ever stole anything again? I should ask. Nah she probably didn't. I doubt it.
