Me personally? My husband? Some of my friends and family? Yes. They including I? And, perhaps some of you readers.....
I am thinking we guys should feel really blessed! Because, we were blessed with pretty awesome, caring, loving, kind, and maybe very hard working parents. Am I right? Yes, some of us out there really should feel blessed if that is something God allowed to happen in our lives.
Unfortunately, sadly to say not all of us have felt blessed to have had the good kind of parents. Now, out of the majority of the people I know? I wouldn't say that they had bad parents. So, I guess that's a good thing!
Well, I did say that's the majority. There is unfortunately that select few children that had pretty bad/nasty parents. Like I said me, or most of my loved ones? We wouldn't know how that goes. No experience with that.
I see or hear about most of that kinda stuff on TV. Mostly on Channel 7 news. Sometimes on talk shows like Windy City Live! Yes, it's a good thing That I don't hear about that kind of stuff much.
But, even if I don't hear about it? That doesn't matter. The concern is that it still is out there. The scary thing is that it may even be right under our nose. So to speak.
Be encouraged! Why? Because God has a plan for you! Yup, he sees and knows what those mean parents are doing to you. I can just imagine he is probably super mad!
And, so sad because he knows even though he wants to leave his home in heaven just so he can come down on Earth to help you, he can't! Because, it's just not yet his time.
That's why for the meantime? You know while we wait till he comes back? Don't be surprised if God has already spoken to someone else's heart about being your Parent like Figure. I think a good place to look for one is a church!
I am playing devil's advocate with myself. Thinking there's someone who may be saying to themselves, "That's stupid! I don't need a parental figure. I got myself! I don't need anyone else telling me what to do!!!
OK now that was fun. Seriously though I do wonder now if there is anyone out there really thinking what I was just saying. Well of course there is! Why else would God put that in your heart? Oh, Touche I guess.
Let me answer one of the questions I was saying to myself when playing devil's advocate. Oh, so you keep saying you don't need it you don't need a Parental figure? You don't need this? You don't need that? The question really is what does God think we need? Isn't that really all that matters.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
