Prayer Is "E"

Play for the Audio Version

It is probably no surprise when I say that I am a woman of prayer. Not only am I saying that now. However, if you are a devoted loyal reader of this blog then you know that I usually end my blog saying a personal prayer as well. So, I am not lying!

I pray to Jesus! Sometimes he answers my prayers the way that I want them to be answered. Sometimes He answered my prayers the way I don't want them to be answered. God always does answer though!

That truly is what it is all about. Not our will. But the Lord's will be done.

When God came down to Earth, he became human. That means he had his own mind. He was able to make his own choices.

The night before His crucifixion, Jesus was probably so sad and scared because he knew what was coming the next day. He was praying in the garden that God would take away the cup (Referring to His death on the cross).

But, Jesus said to God the Father, not my will but yours be done. I did see somewhere that Jesus Christ experienced hematohidrosis while praying in the garden before his crucifixion. ( In the audio I said the bible says IT BUT It DOES NOT)
Jesus prayed more earnestly and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

Can you imagine?
I mean just think you know the next day you are gonna be experiencing so much excruciating pain.

Basically, honeys? Well, you know what happened to Jesus the next day. I don't need to repeat it.

I think the very important thing is to focus on this. Jesus actually did go through so much anguish and pain. He was crucified for me and you.
Guys he died for us!  Because he loves us!  And, He wants you to believe in Him so that he can spend eternity in heaven with us!

Luke 22:42

Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Luke 22:44

And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground

John 3:16

ForGod so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life

1 John 5 11-12

And, this is the testimony,  God has given us etlernal life and this life is in his son.  He who has  the son has life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
