It has been too many years now since I really have been a homebody. I mean not like it is now with this Corona Virus pandemic.
For me having MS was really more the reason I would stay home more. Just takes a lot of energy to do stuff like dress up and stuff. So, if I don't have to go out, then I won't go out. Sometimes I do though.
I have been so blessed by having my husband. Joe helps me go through this yucky illness everyday! Now, that I am in the years where the, well I call it "Eww stuff!" is always happening. Um, it just sucks! It's very unfortunate. Especially for Joe.
I mean he's human. So, of course he doesn't like what he has to do. And, like any normal human will angrily express it through his words. But, he still does things. And, that really is what matters.
He's my husband. I am his wife. He knew what was to come after we got married. He knew that my disease was going to get worse as the years go by. And, he still chose to marry me. That was awesome for me! I guess that's really love!
What comes to nind is the bible story of Jesus' dirty feet. There was a woman that loved Jesus so much. She wet his feet with her tears then wiped them with her hair.
Now, I'm not Jesus. Or, even remotely close. But, just like that woman that touched Jesus' dirty feet? Well, I think of and am so thankful for my husband who always cleans up my Eww stuff! I remember what my brother-in-law said one time. Basically, something along the lines of doing stuff that isn't exactly fun is actually choosing to do it in the name if love!
