Throughout my life I have noticed something. Basically, from everyone I would meet. You know like my parents, teachers, friends, close/extended family, husband, in laws, etc. Definitely see it within myself too.
That is patience. More like impatience, for most I know. I'm talking about waiting. Am I right? Do you like to wait? I mean maybe there are those times waiting does come easy for some. I guess.
Then, there are those times waiting does not come easy for some. The degree of difficulty of how "waiting" comes into play varies with each individual. Maybe, for you waiting is like your kryptonite (weakness I mean).
You don't have to tell me how frustrating, annoying, and oh so difficult waiting can be. I think the important thing to think about is this. How are other people getting affected by our reaction to our impatience? How are we ourselves being affected by our impatience?
Friends, If you seriously think about it? Everyone and their mama has to wait! Waiting is something that dates all the way back to the beginning times.
Think about it. What is your reaction you show when people see that you are waiting? Are you impatient? Do you start raising your voice and running your mouth talking about nonsense using every curse word in the book?
Do you have a face painted with anger and disgust that others can see? Are you physically taking out your emotions by hurting other helpless people or damaging property? What did that piece of property ever do to you?

Ladies and gentlemen, I know!
Waiting is oh so difficult to do sometimes. Why did God make it so that we would have to wait so much?
Wait a minute (like the pun?) Lol Seriously now. Could it be that God allows so much waiting just so we humans can ask him for some patience?
Who knows? What I do know is this. God loves relationships. And, when you are in a relationship with someone? There is bound to be talking. God loves it when we talk to him! Having faith in Him? That would just be extra brownie points!
Even Jesus, God the Son, had to wait for God the Father. God the Father is waiting for us so that he can do certain things. What comes to mind us this. What I know I mentioned before. Pastor Greg Laurie and his joke. The joke about, or, maybe it's real? Who knows?
God could be waiting for a particular person to accept him as personal Lord and Savior! Then, once that person gets saved? God will finally come back to Earth and collect those who are his! And, say " depart from me" to those who are not.
Yeah, God waits. Remember, God is not going to force anyone of us to accept him. We all have free will. The question is have you chosen to follow Jesus? If not? Why not?
Lamentations 3:25
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him
Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessnes.
