Good early morning! Joe and I just ended Kingdom Marriage by Tony Evans the other night.  Wow,  that was really good!  Most definitely an audio book I definitely recommend for  other husbands and wives!

Today I want to talk about nourishing your marriage. Tony Evans shared some encouraging and, very helpful  thoughts that is sure to help any marriage.

Mr. Evans' 1st point was very interesting.  His 1st point derived from the bible story about the wedding in Cana. That was when Jesus turned the water into wine. 

But, I'll talk more about that story at another time.  

Today I wanted to focus on what Mary said to the people when they were asking her what to do about such-and-such things. Mary, the mother of Jesus would always respond with this. "Do whatever He tells you to do." He- referring to Jesus!  

Look at that! Even, Mary, the mother of Jesus knew how much power this man had. She could have easily said something like this. " Well, I think you should do this.... or I don't  agree with what Jesus said and I'm his mom and mothers know best and..." bla bla

Nope, she said do whatever He tells you! We should definitely apply that to our marriage!

Let me share some notes from Joe.

• Doing so can surprise us as better than what we had before.

• Whatever you can do to nourish your marriage, do it

• Ask him to heal your relationship in prayer.

• Ask him what he wants YOU to do, not what he wants your spouse to do. Then do it.

• Remember, repent, repeat what you did and return to your first love.

• A rewarding Kingdom Marriage begins with you

• He saved your best for last
