I remember a long time ago in my early Christian years. It was around the time I had 1st been introduced to the Lord. And, I was 15 years old in a high school youth group. We'd meet every Wednesday and were called YACK! Can't remember what that stood for. My guess would be that the 1st letter started with youth!

Anyway, I do remember that 1 of our Lessons were getting the acronym of the word ACTS. Yup, l know! There goes my weird memory again!

Well, this particular memory? It probably came back in the forefront of my mind because it was just such an awesome message! You know? How x?could I forget something like this? Or, perhaps it's because I read it recently from one of my morning devotons lol. Yeah, but no matter what it was that made me remember doesn't really matter much. All that matters is I'm  sharing my deep thoughts. Let's dive in!


1st of all, I am going to assume this. Many people Most probably don't feel comfortable It comes to being so pray. Am I right? Welcome for those people? And sometimes myself included, let me Tell you guys about the acronym, A.C.T.
S.

A- Adoration

Time to adore, worship and give much praise to God

YUP! Did you all know and that is actually a prayer? I didn't know that.
I could see it though. So, we take our minds completely off whatever sticky situation we may be in. Then move and turn our eyes back on Jesus in just think him for who he is And, just totally Adore Him.

C- Confess

Yep, you all are smart people. You know what this means! God abhors sin! We all sin and we all need to confess and repent! Why will we do that? Probably because we feel bad. SO, ALL THE MORE REASON TO DO IT. Now, who wouldn't want that? We definitely all need that! Make revelation 320 says he stands at the door and knocks And he says if you hear His voice and let him in he will dine with you!

Pastor Greg Laurie was joking around one time and he was saying this. Maybe God is just waiting for You to accept Him! Then He will finally come back! ( That's a joke, remember no one knows when God will come back.

T- Thanksgiving

Yay! This is a fun part! Well, It should be. Did we forget to say thank you for our prayer We can't pray about over and over! And, oops we forgot that God answered it? We forgot to say thanks God for doing that. SHAME ON US!


S- Supplication

This is the part of the prayer that probably will take the longest time.
This is When we begin bombarding God with an overwhelming laundry list of prayer needs. Don't you feel lucky then the Lord ones to hear every single one of a pair needs being he will never tire from hearing them!

I do remember reading somewhere this thread prayer is a 2 way conversation with God. We can audibly or thoughtfully pray for things. We pray to him, And he hears us. And, he speaks to us. Of course not audibly. Because that would be crazy!

I still do believe God does hear us all the time. The way he answers our prayers is by His word? Do you guys ever have a prayer Need? The in camera you think God doesn't hurt you because he's not answering your prayer!?

Then, 30 minutes later, this may happen. You have no idea. But, just out of the blue you find yourself reading the bible. What can that be about? Is our Almighy God speaking Through the words in The Bible to you and me?
