I don't know why but I'm thinking about the movie Miss Congeniality. Have you guys seen that movie? I'm thinking of the part in the end where Sandra Bullock says she really does want World Peace. LOL You guys know by now my mind thinks of the weirdest things sometimes right? LOL
Do you guys think that God would like to give peace on Earth AKA World Peace? World Peace does sound like a nice thing doesn't it? Well, let me share a couple of Bible verses from the true words of God.
Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all but rather division'
(Luke 12:51)
(Luke 12:51)
You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
(James 4:4)
Look at that. Wow, that's not something at all that I would think God would say. However, he did say that. Pretty surprising huh?
Let me share my deep thoughts on this whole subject. First of all, I think he is using the word adulteress because he wants to stress that we are being unfaithful if we choose to love the world over God. He stresses that if we love the world we are God's enemies. So, if we choose to love the world more than God, we are an enemy of God.
That's some serious stuff. I don't want to be one. I mean, I don't want to be an enemy of God! He says it straight out. He doesn't candy or sugar coat anything. It's either God or the world. We have to choose correctly... Or else!
I definitely don't think that God is saying that we shouldn't be friends with our friends who are of the world. No! Absolutely not! God wants us to be friends with everybody. Remember, he said to love one another? I think the important thing we have to realize and make sure to really be mindful of is how our own attitude is. Let me elaborate more on that.
Honey's if you all are going to be "wusses" (pardon my language) to stand up for God then...

If you are acting like the wrong kind of thermo (check my reading thermometer or thermostat) then... Basically if you really just can't say no to doing something God doesn't like then.....
If you do not have the capability to stand up for God then you should limit your hangout time with worldly friends. I'm just saying. Those are my Deep Thoughts.
Nelly Furtado! My hands were freezing so, of course, I ask this gentleman sitting at the table next to me if he can get me some hot water! Cory, you are awesome! Of course, I gave him a card. Dude, I pray you will be encouraged by the writings! Thanks again
Oh my caregiver just got here. And I want to give shout out to the people she gave cards to during her travel. Elijah, Lucy, and Mary riding the green line, may my writing give you encouragement. Thanks for reading.
