BREAK FROM MARRIAGE SERIES "Why Me?"

Hello everyone,

Please EXCUSE me from taking a break from the Marriage Series.  I am in the process of waiting on people's responses of how men and women personally view love and respect.  Hopefully, I will be able to share the findings very soon. To fill in the gap of the absence of any writing for today, I will write my thoughts on the subject that I am sure many have thought about.  I know I have. And, that is -"Why is this or that happening to me?" I want to center today's writing from these 2 bible verses.  I, not only pray this will be an encouragement to you, but to me as well.  I really need some encouragement right now.

Romans 8:28 

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10 ESV 

So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

This verse honestly, gave me the goosies.  I want to steal a quote that my husband just told me, and that is, "God gave sickness to you because he knows you need it in your life.  But, he also gave it to you so that you can ask for His help.  And with his help, you will overcome it!"  I tell ya, sometimes my husband totally surprises me with his wisdom!  But then I remember that the wisdom is from God speaking though Joe. God knows I needed it right now.  Isn't God amazing? Thanks God, I needed that!
