Isn't that what some of you guys think? Before I accepted Jesus as my personal savior and became a Christian I'm pretty sure that the title of the reading for today crossed my mind. It is a very true statement for some people nowadays, probably in the past as well And, this thought maybe coming in someone's future.
Believe me, I don't blame you for your thoughts. Chrsistians, fellow Christians, we can definitely be hypocrites. Why is this that? Um, I think the safe answer is just clear and simple. And, the answer is simply this " because we are human."
Yep, that was a pretty safe answer. I don't think you should use that as an excuse especially when the incident is going on. Perhaps, we can just put that in our head. Then we can also put in our head God created me and you to be human. He knows
Us, being human will totally mess up.
Now, listen up we cannot utilize our human spirit as an excuse to why we mess up or hurt people. I'm going to suggest that we should have...
I'm thinking of 3 very important things. They are to be quiet, apologize for what we did, and pray. We need to pray, asking the Lord to give you comfort, and strength to not listen to the evil sayings
What if you were getting in a little brawl or very heated disagreement with an unbeliever. Are we swearing? How is the tone of my voice? Does it sound mean or harsh? Well, there goes the testimony of a Christian right?
Your unbelieving friend would not want any part of Christianity. If your reaction is this hatred instead of love, what's the point if they see that Christians would do the same thing and act the same way! I repeat then what's the point?
Now, it's time to play opposite of Devil's Advocate. LOL I will say stop being harsh, stop using curse words AKA swearing, and be careful you watch your tone of voice. Perhaps, it would help if you thought that maybe you are in an audience in some type of production was about to, commerce. Or, maybe you are in a classroom tabout to take a test. Please think about it because those are the times we all do become cautious of how our voices will sound. We're mindful whar the content will be and how the volume will be. Watch ourselves!!!
