Prepared

Hi to Chuck. Somebody's calling my name then I think okay maybe if I take my sunglasses off I can see who it is . Charlie AKA Chuck is here at Starbucks, just like old times when me and the cops and Mike used to hang out here at Starbucks before they went to work

So, it was nice having a little chat with and mostly about sports because he is a die hard Chicago White Sox fan and I am I always will be a Cubs fan. And we all know what happened with that. Chuck said he just doesn't like the Cubs but he's happy for the Cubs fans. That was a surprise and definitely a step up. LOL. So again I pray that you will be encouraged by the writings.

Prepared. What is Sam thinking this morning? Is that what you are thinking?

Did you guys know that the Lord has a place prepared for the Believers when they get to heaven after they die?  I'm thinking then if the Lord is doing the preparing, the room he is getting ready for us, will be pretty awesome! Don't you agree?

Let me ask you something, and myself included. Is our home cleaned up and just friendly appearing for uninvited visitors that knocked on your door and gave you the surprise of your life?

Currently I know it's not for me. See, since it says in his word that he had a place prepared for us. I'm pretty sure God is not going to do a quick clean-up minutes before we arrive.

I'm thinking that's what we all should be like. The word hospitality comes to mind. If someone was to surprise us with a visit would we be, hurriedly trying hard to tidying up the place?

Let me throw another question for you guys. What if the surprise visit is from an unbeliever whom you've been trying to introduce God to? I am not absolutely sure , but I am thinking that it would be a turn-off for the unbeliever. Think about it, when he or she visits you you're spending more time trying to clean up the place rather than spending time talking about Jesus.

I know that there are some people who don't care about cleanliness when it comes to going to your place. I am just trying to make you realize that there are times you will come across people who will care about cleanliness.

So instead of wasting your time trying to clean up the place at a fast pace, then shouldn't we make sure it's clean so we can spend our time doing something else..

Talking about Jesus?

I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also" (John 14:2–3).

I want to end my writing with with words from Greg Laurie:
"Is your house in order? Are you ready to go? Then you won't have to fear what happens beyond the grave."
