They Dont Wanna Hear It!

Before I start the writing this evening, I just want to say hi and thanks for making me decaf coffee, cutting our watermelon, and sharing the mole recipe at the funeral home today!! Oh, and I can't forget Maria was such a sweetheart.  She saw me leaving for the night and followed me to our rental car and gave me a hug goodbye! :) Look me up Maria when you visit Chicago! I pray you will be encouraged by my writings girl!

Good evening my beautiful readers! Yep, I had a long day out at the funeral home for the wake of my niece. If you guys forgot, remember I'm in Texas! When I got back to the hotel, immediately the Lord put in my heart I need to do my writing. Since it will be the funeral tomorrow, I will have another day of not doing my writing. Cool, see the Lord not only cares about me and making sure I am feeling rested, but he cares about you readers so he is reminding me what I need to do for your encouragement!

Time to dive in! I gave my reading this evening the title, "They don't want to hear it!" Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Let me tell you. I'm meaning that other people don't want to hear you tell them that they are a sinner.

I totally get it. I don't want anyone to tell me I'm a sinner. Yes, I know that is the genuine truth, but there's no need for you or me to point that out.

There are people, myself included, that just don't want to be told they're in the wrong or they are doing something wrong. Okay, maybe you know someone who is really about to do the worst. Or, maybe I myself am about to do something that is not necessarily to God's liking.

Okay, long story short and simple dimple, you don't need to say anything. Not one thing about XYZ. Why? Because it is not your responsibility. You know what you could do for the people? Really all you can do is pray and it is their prerogative to speak to you about whatever. If that is the case, then it is your choice to want to listen.

Again, folks think about how you would feel. You don't like it when people tell you that you are doing something wrong. You especially wouldn't like to hear that you are doing something that God wouldn't like. I can just hear and imagine the horrific debate/ argument that will bring on. So, yeah that's all I want to say about that. Please remember it is not your responsibility to point out people's mistakes.  I'm almost positive the Lord will take the opportunity to speak to hearts.

Encouraging thought of the night:
Need help with something? Do you have a family member you can think of that can maybe help you out? Have you tried asking them?

Matthew 7:1-5 ESV

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
