When would be a good time to talk to someone about Jesus Christ? That is the topic I feel the Lord wants me to write about today. I have no idea why. Maybe someone is contemplating if they should speak to someone about Jesus? Right?
Well, according to the heavy and loud knock in my heart, I'm going to answer with there's no time like the present! Whether it be a storm or sunny skies. I mean whether you are in good cahoots with a person or even if you dislike a person very much, you still need to share the gift of Jesus Christ, especially if you are given the opportune time.
Friends, the reality is there's no guarantee we will be breathing in air in the next milliseconds, so if you are given the opportunity to save someone's life after death, then you must take that chance with the Holy Spirit right by your side helping you talk about Jesus Christ!
I've known of people who accepted Jesus while they were still living life on Earth with no health problems, marital problem, or any other kind of problem. I've known of people who have accepted Jesus on their deathbed. I've heard of people who have not accepted Jesus and the death bed.
I had an aunt who passed away from cancer. I don't know if she was presented the gospel, but I do know that when the doctors wanted to pull the plug, she didn't want them to do that. She was scared of death. Friends, are you scared of death? Please ask yourselves, if you are, why is that?
To be honest, I kinda don't think it's really fair that other people can live an unholy and reckless life for most of the years they are living on Earth, but when it comes to them being diagnosed with a disease that is bound to kill them in the next few days, they jump at the first opportunity to accept Jesus and go to heaven after death.
Do you understand what I'm trying to say? I need not be concerned about other people. I need to just focus on myself and what is the outcome of my own life after death. See, God created everyone differently and they all have their own free will. If you are a child of God, then you know you must follow his commands to share his word with other people.
I would like to end this writing with a story I know I've shared before. And I feel like the Lord wants me to share it again because it's just so awesome!
Remember, I'm Filipino so I have a lot of grandmas. LOL. When my aunt's mom was told by the doctors she was going to die soon, she was so excited to go because she knew she was going to see Jesus Christ! From the day I visited her in the hospital to probably her final breath this woman was always smiling, laughing, and waving her hands around praising Jesus. I have never met anyone who was so excited to die. That was my "Lola." When it was the day of her funeral she was actually in her coffin with a smile on her face! That is how I want to be when it's time for me to go. How about you?
