Rejection

Oh my word. Okay before I start. Don't you all hate it when your foot itches like the bottom of your foot and you cannot scratch it. Well I could not cross my leg because my wheelchair was too big. Thank you God for sending Virgil+ over my way asking if I needed help. He pulled my table back and then I offered a card. Hi Virgil and thank you for helping me I hope you'll be encouraged by my writing.

Before I start my writing, I would just like to give a shout out to two women and one gentleman I met at the end of last week. During my Paratransit ride home, my driver was awesome! Hi Donna, and hope you are encouraged by my writings. Hi to Travis as well. He was visually impaired and he said that he would ask a friend to read my stuff for him. That was so nice of him. It made me think that maybe I'll do some audio writings on my blog. :-) Hope you are encouraged by what my writings! And lastly, I would just like to give a shout out to Elizabeth. Elizabeth was the lady that we picked up from the school for disabled people. I hope you would be encouraged and enjoy my writings.  Start your day with encouragement!

Good morning! I'm at Starbucks today. :-) Okay let me ask you a question. Here it is. What do you guys think will happen if you reject God? Do you think that God will say something like, "oh well that's cool he or she will come around." Or, maybe you think, if God really wanted to he can make anyone turn to believe in him. Right? Well, my answer is if one will reject God, then God won't do anything. Let me share my deep thoughts regarding this subject.

Okay, first of all, I don't think He would say something like, "oh it's cool he will come around in due time." If someone refuses to acknowledge God, then that's all on that person. I don't think God is going to waste a thought and think, "oh he will come around." Or, she will come around. The reality is that God can come back anytime that he wants to. It will be like a thief in the night. And, Friends, we honestly don't have time to wait for the truth to register or kick in our brains and hearts. There really is no time like the present to turn to God. That should honestly be the mindset.

This is my second Deep Thoughts. Yes, you are right in thinking that God is God and he can do just about anything so if he wanted he could probably convert your mind to believe in him. However, you need to be mindful that even though God is just that awesome he decided not to tamper with one's mind. It's all on you or me, he or she or they and them. It's all about our beautiful gift from God called "free will." That means that God wants everyone to use their own brain and heart and decide whether they want to follow Jesus.

The important thing to realize is one, God is not going to wait for someone to come around and decide to accept Jesus. And, God is not going to play with someone's heart and convert their thought process in choosing to follow him.

My opinion is, I think God hurts when his very own people that he created rejects him. However, the really is, there is nothing he can do about it. It's up to those people.

2 Peter 3:10 ESV

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 ESV
For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
