Grace Series Part 4: They Just Might Do it...and They Might Just Do That Too!

Welcome back to Monday everybody! I'm back here at Starbucks. I'm just blessed that I have a place to go where it's an "everybody knows your name" type thing.  Anyway I'll talk more about that later. Time to get into the writing.

First of all, I want to give a shout out to Caryn.  I just gave one of my cards to her. She was so awesome. Girl I pray that you will be encouraged by my writings.  Oh, by the way, this is very important. If you see me and say hi and I don't say hi back, I'm not ignoring you. I kinda have a problem with my eyes because of the MS, so what I need you to do is go right in front of my face like you were earlier and say my name.  Make sure you have my attention. I would love it if you said hi again!

Okay, what does Sam mean when she says, "They Just Might Do It?" What I mean is this. Just think about it. When you do wrong to someone, your initial feeling is pretty crappy. Right? Wow when that person decides to offer you grace, then how does that make you feel?

My friends, when people you hurt offer grace, we certainly might appreciate that. I used the word "might" because everyone is different. However, personally, I think we all should appreciate it when someone chooses to offer us grace. Well, what does Sam mean when she says "They just might do that too?" Well, I'm thinking not only will they appreciate the offering of grace, but they might do something else.

Perhaps, because of your offering of grace to the other party, the other party may take an extra step to not be willing to ever repeat the initial mistake again. There is indeed power in the offering of Grace and forgiveness. We just got to do it!

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:
