Happy Thursday! Weather rainy day I'm sorry you guys already started the day pretty bad because of the rain. Well this morning I am back here at Starbucks again and as far as handing out cards so people can read my blog and be encouraged this is what I feel the Lord said to me. Don't speak to people who just come in just stick to people in line because they're resting out of the rain. And of course I met two ladies in the line. Doreen and Vi. Ladies, thank you for accepting my card and I pray that you will be encouraged by my writing. Have a wonderful day.
Perhaps there are some people on the train, Metra, maybe even walking in the rain. Or maybe they will wait to read my writing or not even read them at all I have no idea. I'm just praying that someone will definitely get encouraged by my writing. So yeah, it was raining this morning. You can really replace rain in your thoughts with just anything that will take you out of your comfort zone.
Since now it is raining and I have some thoughts about it raining let me share.
Do you think rain pretty much sucks? Do you think it really is unnecessary specially when you're in a hurry to go to school or work? I'm thinking we need it. God knows we need rain for a bunch of reasons. Mostly in the farmers domain.
You know who I think also likes it when it is raining? Actually he likes to get us out of our comfort zone. Because if you think about it if you are not comfortable you're more than likely to commit a sin. I don't know where you guys are with that but I'm speaking for myself. It makes me like more then likely to sin.
Folks, I know and I'm talking about. I've seen it in other people. I've seen it in myself. I know what I'm talking about.
I think what we all need to realize is a very important thought. And, that is when something in life takes us out of our comfort zone, I think we need to really pray specifically.
Remember the evil one cannot read minds. He doesn't have that power. What he can do is totally read your nonverbal communication and hear your verbal communication. He might be looking at you right now. Remember Satan and his demons are here roaming the Earth searching for someone to devour.
How exactly do you act when you are taken out of your comfort zone? Is your mind thinking something like well I'm out of my comfort zone now! Thank God! And then ask him for help?
Or, I don't know sometimes when it happens to me I admit I matron towards Satan's ways. will have bad language and listen to the evil Whispers going in my mind. Is your main focus on God at this uncomfortable time? I'm thinking how can we praise God at the time when we are out of our comfort zone.
Folks, remember I told you we're going through the bondage breaker? Well one point that we read from our reading yesterday is that we shouldn't entertain in our minds or even think about Satan and his devilish ways but rather just keep our minds focused on God and His righteous ways. Keep your mind focused on how awesome God is. Think about what he has blessed you with.
Let me take this writing back to rain. Now, that I look out the door . I see people who are dry not holding umbrellas. It really looks beautiful outside. It's too bright outside The sun is shining down on the wet pavement. Will it rain again later I have no idea. However this rain I feel is a reminder to me from God that even in the storm we should praise him. Eventually, he will make the rain go away and put us back in our comfort zones. We need to trust that God will do that.
