It May or May Not Happen

Before I start my reading for the day let me get a shout-out to T.J. Thank you so much for helping me read the menu. And, thank you for graciously accepting my card. Shout out to Alise too. I pray for you guys that you'll be encouraged by readings! Let's Dive In!

Okay, you guys and gals, and us guys and gals can pray for something to happen or not to happen all we want. We can pray until you turn blue in the face. However, we need to be mindful  that if it is not in the Lord's will and he is not on board with what we want then sorry to say prayer exactly how it was asked will not happen. It won't be according to your own well. It will be according to God's will.

I hope that clears some confusion about that whole subject., I hear people all the time and even hear myself thinking God did not answer my prayer.

The reality is maybe God did answer your prayer. He just answered it in a way that was according to his will and not yours. I'm not God so I don't know his timing on when he wants to answer your prayers.

Friends, it really is a beautiful thing when God answers the prayers exactly how we wanted them answered. But, my friends it should also be a beautiful thing when we know that God answers our prayers even if it wasn't the way we wanted it to happen. Because, it's beautiful that God even listens to us when we pray. It's beautiful because he is allowing whatever he thinks is best in our life. Think about it. What if God answers the prayer the way you wanted it? But, he knows that later down the road the end result will be disastrous. We don't see the future so we won't know the end.

My advice to you guys and reminders to myself is to keep on praying even though the answer may not personally be something you wanted to happen.

Encouraging thought of the day:

Keep on praying!
