We Really Should Do This More

When the countdown made its goal and the clock struck midnight I bet the majority of the world did something. Aside from the select people that may carry bad memories with New Years; aside from that people were probably smiling.

Like maybe on your wedding day? When you were walking down the aisle or watching your love walk down the aisle? Weren't you smiling? On the flip side what about when you're not too happy because of whatever reason, you probably will not be smiing. Your face would probably appear negatlive, grimacing with pain, annoyance, anger, frustration, etc.

Friends, do you guys realize the power of facial expressions? When my loved one, like friends or family or even a stranger does something to me thats pretty negative what do I do? What should I do?

Am I quick to offer grace? No, not really. Well maybe sometimes. Does the joy or happiness, sadness or frustration show on my face? To that question I will answer most of the time period that is something I know  I should have more control over. Smiling more is one of my resolutions for this year. I just thought of that now. Lol

My husband would always tell me  I should smile more.   He would tell me  I am a lot prettier when I smile.  I should smile more, he's right about smiling more.

  1. I believe that when  I smile or you smile, we brighten someone's day.
Do you ever look at someone for a while and they have such a sad gloomy look on their face?  However, soon as you say something positive to them or flash your pearly whites in their face they end up smiling too!

That is the way it should be folks. If you didn't know now you know!  The expression we have on our face will totally make or break the mood of the party.

I read somewhere before that a smile can offer relief, hope and the grace to continue.  I can totally see that. :)  We all know now what we need to do right? Today is the beginning of a New Year.  Maybe you guys are like me and really need to smile more at the appropriate or none appropriate times. "We need to smile though our hearts are breaking....."

Encouraging thought of the day:

Smile Jesus loves you!

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:13
