I guess it's happy day after hump day or happy Friday's Eve, as my buddy Mike always says. If you don't know what I mean happy Thursday! Oh, and almost forgot. Yesterday at Starbucks I gave cards to these two nice ladies Rachel and Fatama. Thank you guys for getting me hot water! I pray you will be encouraged by the writings and have a wonderful day!
Let me ask you guys something. Are you guys going through something in your life that is pretty bad and is definitely what you call a battle with evil? Maybe, you are suffering with a chronic disease like me? Maybe you have a marriage that is just going down the drain and you know it is! I don't know I'm sure that whatever horrible thing you're going through you can fill in the blank.
Whatever it is you're going through, I will say this because it's my opinion. So, I'm not expecting, nor will I be surprised if one of you guys don't believe in what I'm about to say. I will say that if you don't know then you need to know! I'm talking about you need to know God!
Friend, God knows what you're going through. And we can believe that God cares for us. We have no idea why God allowed us to go through what we're going through. But, that's okay because we can trust that God is going to help us get through what he allowed us to go through.
Boy, do I know, that things can get so overwhelming sometimes. Seriously, maybe you become like how I think and just want to run away and turn away from the problems. I've always had that problem ever since I was younger. And, it has followed me to my adult years. Many years ago one time something small but it can be fixed happened with an old boyfriend. I wanted to run away. And, I did! Thank God Joe reminds me that is really my problem. I always run away. It's kind of funny because now since God allowed me to have MS, there's no way I could run literally.
I see it like God was trying to tell me to stop running. And, he definitely allowed me to go through a challenge where I cannot run away. (Joke lang) Folks, we need God to fight our battles for us. We need God's strength he joyfully gives us when we ask him, when things just get to weak for us to handle by ourselves. Do you know God? If not folks, then I believe you need God. Some people may not want God but we all need God!
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
