It Is Not My Job

Before I start this I want to give a shout out to Castalia from the Illinois State Comptroller.  She is a friend and co-worker of my friend Scott. Girl, I pray that you will be encouraged by the writings! Told you I would give you a shout out! Also, I want to say thank you to Henry and Alisha! Two of my caregiver's loved ones! I pray you two will also be encouraged by the writings! Time to do this!

Nope! It is not my job. So, if ever I get into a situation with somebody and I'm being forceful in my words about Jesus, boys and girls, I better rebuke or renounce the devil that is trying to get in my mind.  That's the work of Satan, not mine, and certainly not God's!

Oh, there can definitely be much miscommunication or words that may be taken out of context if I try to force someone to believe in God. That way would give Satan an open door to misconstrue minds and take their thoughts far away from a belief in God!  Then, how are people going to know about God, Sam? Is that the question you're thinking now? Awesome, let me share with you my thoughts.

Okay, all you lovely readers of my blog know by now that I am a born-again Christian, right? If you don't know that then that's my fault and I need to start working harder on sharing with the world my love for Jesus and Jesus' love for us!

To reiterate, not you or I ( fellow believers in Christ) are responsible for other people's beliefs (or disbelief)! Personally, I can share all my deep thoughts in person, talking with people, or on this blog or whatever means it would take to get the thought in your mind, AKA plant a seed!

However, that is all I can do. I introduce what I believe to be true, then the ball is in your court and you need to decide for yourself what you believe. If you go to heaven after death then I will see you there! Partying up the place! If you don't? You will be missing out on a really fun party with other cool people, especially Jesus!

Fellow believers, do you already know and have in your mind that it is not our job? It is not our job to make others believe in God! Friends, I shouldn't care if you did not believe or if you do. Friend, our loved ones have the choice to make their own destiny! We all have a choice. That is God's gift to us, free will!

Proverbs 16:9 ESV

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

1 Peter 1:23 ESV

Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;

Romans 10:10 ESV

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
