They Just Don't Like Me

Happy hump day! Before I get into my writing for the day I would just like to say hi to Tom! Thank you so much for replacing my cool water with some hot water! Tom, I pray that you will be encouraged by the writings!

Time to get into this! I know right? They don't like Sam?! In their defense, I will say they don't know Sam. And, why am I talking in third person. "They don't know me!" Who am I talking about? I'm talking about the people who pick the extras for Chicago Fire. I just don't get it. I've already done  Chicago PD. I have done Chicago Med. I've even played an extra on the show Empire! Why Why can't I get on Chicago Fire?!

Getting on Chicago Fire is like my "Holy Grail," of playing extras. I just don't get it. I sent an email with my picture and they're also asking for my physical stats. So, can you guys pray for that? Let's see if I get picked this season? Thanks. Let's see what happens.

For the reading today, I want to talk about Ordinary People. That's what I am. That is probably where you guys are. I really have no idea who is a reader of this blog. That's why I said probably. How cool if like Zooey Deschanel read my blog! It definitely is very cool to me that you guys are reading my blog!

Anyway, so I consider myself an ordinary person. If you looked at the Bible character of Gideon, it kind of gives us hope that God could utilize those who are unqualified to do something very unexpected.

Gideon from the Bible gives us hope because God uses Ordinary people to explode with big plans. Listen to me. The Lord can change the world with an ordinary person. We just have to be willing to say to the Lord that we are willing to be that person.

In my life, more than 10 years ago I said a prayer similar to that. I wanted God to use me! Then, within days I started waking up at 3 am because he wanted me to spend time with Him  in prayer and his word! Now, I've been doing that for more than 10 years. For those of you who personally know me, and you see me in the morning, don't I always look refreshed? That's what waking up and starting your day with the word of God will do for me after only 5 hours of sleep! I have no idea if that would be what God's plan is for your guyses lives. I suggest checking your heart to see what God's plan is for your life! Take it from me, you will be encouraged!
