Are You?

Happy Mother's Day to the mothers out there! Actual mothers, spiritual mothers, mentors who maybe considered mother like figures to people Etc etc. 

I have a late shout out. Been kinda tied up mentally for the past few days. Was my birthday weekend and can you believe I haven't done a writing since Thursday. Anyways, yeah oh and I was actually born on Mother's Day. Anyway, all good, cuz I'm back now!

So, Craig was a gentleman I was able to give my card to. Funny thing happened  I stand by my word when I say God brings his people together. So, after I had given him a card, I had turned back around in my seat. Then a couple minutes later pass, and Craig says excuse me and asks if I can pray for him regarding some stuff. So, Craig, as I said I will definitely keep you in my prayers!

And, I also gave an extra one to give later to his friend Kirk.Thanks again Craig for picking up my eye drops from the floor and getting me those little green stoppers to cover my hot water.

Are you guys looking forward to the return of Christ? Maybe some of you guys aren't and could care less about the topic? Because frankly, you guys are not believers. 

Do you ever see people who are in a worship gathering singing Praise songs like this one. Chris Tomlin's worship song "I Will Rise." The lyrics are, " I will rise when he calls my name. No more sorrow. No more pain. I will rise On Eagle's Wings. Before my God fall on my knees. And rise. I will rise." 

You see people who are pretty happy, and are genuinely excited for the return of Christ. These people are genuinely excited. They are looking forward to seeing Jesus Christ face to face and spending eternity with Him!

Do you have the mindset like one of those people? Or, do you not? Maybe, there are some people out there who might even be feeling a little scared? The truth is maybe you just don't know how to feel. Should you believe? Do you not believe? Well, you all know my opinion. The rest is totally up to you. You will have to make the decision when it comes to belief. 

If your life is going right with Christ you probably would be cool to welcome him back. If your walk with God is not going that well, then you probably would prefer Jesus to hold off on coming back to Earth. You still need to iron out a few details as far as making your life good enough. HA! That last sentence was a bunch of baloney! Friends, Jesus is coming back whenever he wants to! We just have to be ready! Are you ready?

1 Thessalonians 5:2

For you know quite well that the day of the Lord's return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.

2 Timothy 4: 8

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
