Picture the evil one just whispering in your ear "You can't do that. It's too hard. You have no time for that! You have no patience for that!" Oh yeah evil one?
To that l say these things:
Too hard? I can I do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13.
You say I have no time? God says Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. Colossians 4:5-6 ESV
Well, personally for me these verses really help because I struggle with patience. So, to you evil one I throw these words at you from God! Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another. Ephesians 4:2
Hot tempers cause arguments, but patience brings peace.(Proverbs 15:18)
Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times. (Romans 12:12)
I waited patiently for the Lord’s help;t thenhe listened to me and heard my cry.( Psalm 40:1)
I really should take my own advice when I do my writings. And, it would be nice if other people took my advice as well. But, I have no control with that. So, that's all I can say about that one
When you and you Sam think positive take the word "can't" out of your vocabulary. I don't think it's that people can't do things because remember with God Anything is Possible. Perhaps it's due to laziness or they just don't want to and we may have unwillingness to try.
I have seen it from people. I have felt it in myself. It can get really ugly. Volumes can increase in voices. Harshness can be said in words along with coarse and vulgar language. We get frustrated. And, frustration can lead to, I don't know just bad things.
Pause break. I'm remembering a name of one of the girls I gave a card to. I remember the name Kristina. She was sitting behind me with the girl of the other name I can't remember. And, I also remember the name Evelina as well. She was a nice women who I asked for hot water. Maybe I'll keep remembering as I write LOL.
I think making yourself think positive is just what you need to do. I think any thoughts of negativity will not be from God but more like from the evil one. Think about it of course the evil one wants to make you think only negative about yourself. He Longs for you to think you can't. Because he knows with God you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength!
So if you need to smack yourself in the head, (gently, please don't hurt yourself), clear your foggy mind, don't think of past situations or people that may have hurt you bad. Pray hard if you think so and think positive thoughts.
Would you look at that? I said come on Lord I am trying to remember the last name. Yay I got it! Her name was Sarah! Thank you Sarah for helping me get my phone off the floor! Hope you enjoy the writings!
Yay I also remembered well kind of remembered the name of my caregiver's other niece. I may misspell the name but at least I remembered! I believe it was Karyanna. Watch me be totally off. LOL I will just wait for my caregiver to text back. She was younger, so I didn't give her a card but she may one day read my writings when she's older. So, girl I pray you will be encouraged too by the writings. This was one of my favorite writings!
