Stop Worrying About Him Or Her

I can't remember what show I was watching. I know it was years ago. So, if I would have to guess, I would say Full House? Saved by the Bell? Family Matters? I don't know. Some show in the 90s with scenes shown in high school. 

The usual very hot topic back then and probably still is the same today is this. "The Hot Topic of Bullies." The advice I would hear on TV or hear from other people saying to the bullied people were things like this. " Don't pay them any attention. Don't make them feel like they've won. Basically don't let them get under your skin. I guess stand up for yourself!

Personally, I can't recall being severely bullied. At least not enough for me to be scarred with the life long thoughts of so and so taking such harsh advantage of me by the act of bullying. That would be bad. I'll probably still be in therapy or something to try to get over it. Anyway.

Satan is a bully. He uses influence to intimidate someone to do what he wants them to do. I checked out some synonyms too for bullies. Google gave me oppressor and tormentor. Wow, how many times do we Christians feel oppressed or are tormented by the devil!?

We really have to not pay attention to his evil ways. I think of the show that is now on TV. It is called Lucifer. Why on Earth is the media paying attention and perhaps changing who Lucifer is really about? That is exactly what he wants. He wants attention. And that's what we sometimes give him.

Once he gets the attention, then we are creating an opening for him to enter our minds. He then will concoct and devise his evil plan to convince us to fall into temptation. Once he is close enough to begin tempting, then we have to wake up and begin rebuking and telling evil to flee!

Don't let him influence you! Because it will only be negative! Don't let him make you feel oppressed! Don't let him torment you! You have the power of God! Tell that little devil to flee and leave you alone! In the name of Jesus!

Friends, if you know Jesus as your personal Savior. If you chose to embrace him and have a personal relationship with him.... Then Satan, that little devil Lucifer has nothing on us!  Like the song says, that devil will run!
