I remember years ago, I just met a young boy, the brother of my friend. We ended up getting close and became good friends. We exchanged numbers and ended up talking a lot. I remember he had a crush on my girlfriend. So, that guy was talking a lot.
He was like a brother to me. I was like an older sister to him. During one of our talks, I discovered he didn't know Jesus. He was practicing a religion that was not worshipping Jesus. The Holy Spirit was telling my heart talk to this boy, you can see he doesn't know Jesus! So what did I do? I told him about Jesus. And, what did he do? He did not want to hear about it! He had his own God. And, he was content. So that was the end of that conversation.
Then, a few days later he calls me up and then I hear so much fear in his voice. I was like "what is wrong?" This boy said he thought he was going to die. He was just in a really bad car accident. He was so scared because he thought he was going to die. He said his life flashed right before his eyes!
I expressed my sympathy and told him I was glad he was alright. He says to me, "Can you tell me more about this Jesus guy?" I said, " Of course." So I told the whole gospel story, and I asked him if he wanted to accept Jesus as his personal savior. And, he was so different from the first time we spoke about this. He confidently said, "Yes!" That day he became my brother in Christ. This person needed Jesus!
