Oh my word! I don't know what was going on, but I kept dropping parts of my compact powder piece by piece things started to fall. Thank you to Doug for being patient with me cuz I kept asking for help getting each piece as they fell. Then, when the final piece fell the cover, his friend Brett came and he was behind me so he picked it up for me. Thank you 2 men for helping me! I really appreciate it. And I promise I wasn't dropping them on purpose. LOLl
I'm going to have to make this writing quick today. I am going to a birthday for my cousin's 1 year old son. Here we go, let's see what the Lord is telling me to write about today!
Yesterday on the way to Starbucks, a story told by the announcers on Moody radio kind of reminded me of a story for my own life. In short I lost my wedding ring, asked the Starbucks workers if anyone turned it in the lost and found. Mapta, one of the workers at the time told me that nobody turned it in. I had to come to accept the fact that the ring was gone.
The next day, Mapta showed me my ring. I was like Beyond shocked! She said that a Good Samaritan turned it in.

Wasn't that a beautiful story? Quite some time later, I lost my ring again. This time I had no idea where it might be. Again, I prayed that the Lord would make me find the ring. This time for reasons that I don't understand only he knows I couldn't get my ring back.
Currently, I still have a wedding ring. I got a replacement ring that was much much cheaper but at least I have a ring! And didn't really care of the price. The personal value is what mattered most.
See where I'm going with my writing for the day? We can pray. God wants us to pray. I believe that. We can pray asking God to provide what it is that we want to happen. However, that doesn't always happen that way. So, when we pray we should also include Lord willing.
God loves it when we pray but he loves ml even more when you pray in a way that we are giving the Lord total control. We are putting the ball in the Lord's court, so to speak.
We need to be encouraged because even though the Lord doesn't answer our prayers as we we want them to be answered, he does answer them. And when he answers them, he provides a way for us to be okay with how he answered it!
