Power Series Part 10: Power Of Walking

First of all, I'm not a walker. I used to be able to walk. It would be oh so nice if I could walk again here on the Earth, but I know that is a may or may not ever happen type of thing. I do look forward to being able to walk again when I get to heaven!

Joe said we won't have to be able to walk when we get to heaven. Since Jesus was able to walk after his resurrection we will be able to walk. But, to reiterate, we won't have to. We will have glorified bodies. Oh yeah I almost forgot about that, thanks for the reminder babe!

As of now, I do have my thoughts on the power of walking. Aside from the obvious reason of why there is power in walking, I want to speak more about the tender walking. I mean the walking with God throughout your life. There's definitely power in someone's walk with Christ!

What is coming to mind now is this. Times when fellow Christians are going through not so good times throughout their lives. Times Of heartache physically, mentally maybe lovingly. Really, just bad times. If it was referring to me for example, the question I would be asked by that fellow Christian would be this. " How is your walk with God?" Then my facial expression would fall down, probably cringe a little, and I wouldn't be surprised if I would just start bawling because of sadness. The answer to that question would be something like this.

Nonexistent! My walk with God? I don't.... I am not... even walking with God. I haven't been walking with God.That is what I needed to hear myself saying. I needed to hear that so I could fix that! Let me leave you now with a couple questions. If you are a fellow Christian, ask yourself how was your walk with God? If you're not a fellow Christian ask yourself do you think it's time that you start having a walk with God? Have a wonderful Saturday everybody!

Walking In The Spirit

Isaiah 41:10 ESV

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
