Play for the Audio upVersion

Oh, my word! I almost forgot oh, but I didn't. I have to give a shout out to Jami. I have seen her once before. This lady at my church stopped at my car after service. I was in my car and she knocked on my window just to say hi! Isn't that sweet? She encouraged me by saying I was her inspiration. So, of course, I gave her my card so she can be encouraged by the writings! Have a wonderful Monday!
Shout out to Lynn. My caregiver was ableto give one of the cards to this gentleman and the CTA Friday! And, shout out to, shout to Rachel who was waiting in the train with my caregiver. I pray usual be encouraged by the writings and have a wonderful Monday!

Happy Monday! If I didn't mention it before oh, I'll tell you now I am director of the please forgive me, girl! I almost forgot ministry at my church. I've been doing this almost 10 years now. Basically, VFTP stands for view from the pew. So, every week a writer from our congregation posts an article that we have published in our weekly church bulletin. I wanted to share mine for the week. It actually goes with my writing for this power series. Please see the below attached. Let's start writing.

If you didn't know, now I hope you will know. Please take what I'm about to say very seriously, and even ponder about it for quite some time. Until my deep thought sinks in your brain.

Here's the thing we, the believers in Jesus, are praying to Jesus. And, he is the one that is interceding for us. See, Jesus is telling God and our prayers are being given to God the Father. We are praying to God the son and he is giving our prayers to God the Father. So, he is praying for us, :-).

Remember we hear about the Trinity God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit? Basically, it's one God but three things. I'm no Bible scholar and I would not even know where to begin if you want more elaboration or explanation about any of this or that. All I know is I have the faith. I guess that's what it takes, someone to just have the faith. And, that's definitely what we need. I'm sure when people who have embraced Christ as their personal Lord and Savior get up to heaven, a lot of our questions will be answered.

So, it's really a good thing when Jesus is praying to God the Father for us. Because I'm thinking then there's more likely a chance to be protected from the evil one. See, when there is no protection over us then we become more vulnerable and more open for attacks by the evil one. I don't know if that makes any sense to you guys. But, if you think about it God is watching over us and if Jesus is not praying to God to watch over us, then well you guys can finish that sentence.

An example from the Bible is the whole story with Peter and the day of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I have some deep thoughts about it. So, please don't thank you have to put any truth to this because it's just my opinion. AKA I don't know. Remember when Jesus told Peter that he would deny knowing Jesus before the rooster crows twice. He will deny him three times. Then Peter said he would never do that.

When the bad men captured Jesus and were ready to crucify him, guess what happened? Peter denied him. Peter denied knowing him after a few people called him out saying that he was a disciple of Jesus’. Did Jesus stop praying for Peter? See, I don't know that for sure, but I could see it as being a possibility. Again, either way, Peter does not have an excuse for what he did. He did what he did because of his flawed humanity Peter denied Jesus 3 times. In closing, I hope you guys can definitely see how there can be power in Jesus' prayers.

Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.”

2 Corinthians 13-14

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all

  1. I think maybe Jesus allowed Peter to deny him to strengthen his faith later on. Peter knew he had to make it up to Jesus. Also, if Peter would have admitted that he know Jesus at that time, he might have been captured and stoned too.
