Hello friends! Happy Saturday! Let's dive in to today's writing! If you guys know me then you know about my MS. And, unfortunately, my case in particular includes times of being clumsy. Well, I would say it's more of my "ataxia," which is the loss of control of the muscles/bodily movements. Yeah, the definition speaks very well and to the point.
I mean even though I know it is such a big problem for me, be encouraged because I still try and make it work! Let me rephrasec that and say this. God helps me and gives me the strength to make it work! Yeah that sounds better. Just sometimes, his timing on making it work I feel doesn't coincide with my timing, and that's when terror can strike.
Some years ago I remember this. I was walking with my cane and I lost my balance and my head ended up hitting a filing cabinet. My head was bleeding and I kept it covered
with napkins while Joe drove me to emergency at Northwestern Hospital.

Usually, the line is pretty long until you get to be seen by a doctor. However I guess since my predicament was pretty serious, I was seen right away by the doctors.
Long story short, I guess my wound in my head was pretty deep. So, guess what they had to do? I had to get three staples put in my head, in order for them to stop the bleeding. Definitely one of the top three most painful things that I've ever had to go through!
I had to keep them in for one week. And, let me tell you the taking out of the Staples was probably one of the top three best things I've ever had to go through. :-)

This story that I just shared with you guys really makes me grateful. I was grateful that the Lord led me to a way to fix me up. He providedmedical professionals. He provided means to financially get help coming by way of insurance. He provided my husband to actually be well enough and able to take me to the hospital. He gave me ust the right amount of time to get the help I needed. Wow, I don't know. There is probably so much more! Wow. It really could have been a lot worse for me.
What comes to mind is the Bible story of Jesus raising Lazarus back to life. The miracle of Jesus Christ bringing Lazarus back from the dead was the last of his miracles until Jesus's own death and Resurrection.
Why did Jesus choose to bring Lazarus back to life?
I really don't know specifics. My guess is God had a plan for the Life of Lazarus. I guess God wasn't ready for Lazarus to leave the Earth yet? I guess that's why he helps a lot of people from reaching death. He doesn't feel they're ready to leave the Earth yet. He has a plan for them. I guess he had a plan for me because like I said it could have been worse.
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Psalm 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Isaiah 57:15
For thus says the One who is eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths
Isaiah 2:3
Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord , to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
