When people win like Academy Awards, Grammy's, or any award of the like , the spotlight is on them. The stage is theirs! Time for them to give their thanks, appreciation to a truck load of people. And, the hope is to primarily give the Big Ups to the man upstairs!

What comes to mind now, is when we give thanks to family! Giving thanks to family is sometimes in some people's acceptance speech.  God is all about family. Yeah, we do have our Earthly family down here. We must remember that God is truly the family man. Some people have their parents or brothers and sisters. Why? Answer is because God wanted them to be in our lives.

I definitely don't think God likes us to feel alone. If we know him he says in his word he is our father, mother, brother, sister if we don't know him, then he definitely does not know us.

Personally, I grew up on this earth as an only child. Did I feel alone sometimes? Yeah probably. Folks look around the world and you see Brothers have sisters our brothers have their own Brothers or sisters have sisters. Different with everyone. God our father, mother, brother, sister, all of the like. If you know God, then she will know you. But, if you don't know Him, he will definitely not know you.

What is coming to mind now is the story of Cain and Abel. Cain was the son of Adam and Eve who had a brother named Abel. Cain was so jealous of Abel
because the father
liked his offering better.

I think the quarreling of siblings started way back in the Lord's Day. Personally, I wouldn't be able to tell you how that feeling is since I'm an only child. Quite sad I would have had a sister but she died at Birth because the machines now that are so advanced were not around back then in the eighties.

I don't understand how God's mind works sometimes. He allowed me to not have a sister.

Then years later when I was trying to have my own family. I losr three kids while they were still developing in my womb. Again, don't understand why God does what he does sometimes.  However I just have to trust it.  Sometimes a little excitement will even arise with me and Joe because we know that one day we will see them again in heaven!

Friends, hold on to that thought if you and your loved one who passed away know Jesus, then one day you will see them in heaven. Joe and I know we will seee our kids when we get to heaven. I think I mentioned this before. God is just babysitting our kids until we pick them up. LOL
