Let me begin my writing with this deep thought. It just came to mind. My husband, Joe, is more than your normal artist! I mean this guy can draw, sketch, all of the like. :-) I really am amazed by his gift. Not to mention, he finishes his Masterpiece in a timely manner. Believe me when I say you do not have to wait long to see the final results! He can do it in like less than an hour), probably less than a half-hour!
Yes I know right! Shoot, I wouldn't mind being able to have that kind of gift! But, unfortunately, I can only draw ducks with a cursive letter S.
Joe makes fun of me for that one! He has a gift of drawing, especially comic book characters. I have gifts in other ways. :-)
Anyway. Let's get into this writing. Why am I sharing Joe's gift of drawing with you guys? Well, because it totally made me mindful of ourselves. See, when Joe is done drawing his masterpiece, then wouldn't that be his new creation?
Okay, fellow Christians let me ask you something. And that is this. Would you consider yourself to be conformed to the pattern of this world? Or, has your mind been transformed by the renewal of your mind to seeking only God and His will for your life.
I know I have said before that Life After Earth will be awesome! The time when we will have spiritual and
Glorified bodies. You remember? Bodies that will never experience pain or hurt again! I believe I said for me personally, I will be able to walk again in this beautiful place!
So, that will be Life After Earth. What about life on Earth? Well, currently sorry to say we are pretty messed up flawed human beings. Sorry for being like that of a Debbie Downer. I'm just being truthful. Expressing the truth, being real and genuine. Hey, sometimes the truth hurts. Right?
Folks, did you know that the moment you accept Jesus Christ you become a new creation. Yeah, the old has gone the new has come. It says that in the Bible. So, fellow Christians even though we're not yet living in the life of paradise Let me ask you a question. How exactly is your life on Earth? Do people even know you are aq Christian? Do you know people who don't even know God or what a born again Christian is? Perhaps, those questions can be a good conversation starter with unbelievers. What if someone gets saved because of you introducing them to the name of Jesus Christ? I don't know. It can happen.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
