DTFS Promise Series Part:24: Promise From Faith

It has come to my attention, that there may be times in this writing where I said the word "For Faith rather than from faith." My bad! I repeat repeat repeat again God does not give you faith! The primary focus of this writing is for you to see what the promises
would be if we choose to put our faith in Jesus Christ! Please please please please do not misunderstand that. Thank you.

Good morning and welcome everybody to the reading for the morning! Please be sure you read the title correctly. I definitely do not want you to misunderstand or misconstrue what I plan on talking about.

Please notice I did say promise is
FROM faith. Not promise is for faith or to give you faith. There is no way God is going to give you faith. Oh no no. How many times have I mentioned in my writings that God will not force you to do anything! Especially, believing in Him.

Don't you remember me talking about free will? God would definitely appreciate it and he would like it if we believe in him. Oh, but he won't force it! If we choose to or not choose to believe in him. That is all our decision!

Now, for the promises from God if our answer is yes we believe in Him and have faith in Him. Then we are promised salvation, strength oh, and rest! Amongst other things. However, those three are what I want to point out for this morning's writing.

1 John 5: 11-12 

And, this is the testimony God has given us eternal life in this life is in his son. He who has the son has life he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength

Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
