Did you know this? Do you know that God is the one who is in control of everything that is going on in our lives. That goes from the outside temperature to the bumps and bruises on our bodies or the internal pains inside of our bodies to the secrets of what our heart truly longs for.
I heard of a story
where a physical therapist in the client's eyes decided to play God. She was very discouraging and said the patient would never be a ble to walk again! At least not without assistance from someone or something.
Pause break. I just have to say that my awesome therapist Sarah was totally surprised when she heard what was said. Sarah was saying never should a physical therapist discourage someone! If anything, they are with you so they can help you reach your goal. In this case it was walking.
My husband made a very profound statement concerning the whole ordeal. He was saying in blind sight, apparently because of what was said by the therapist, this therapist doesn't believe they will be able to help the person. Eureka!
I don't think another human can, welll, should say anything like that. They are not God! Well, man I would have like
for lack of a better word said, "Shut up................
...... @#$%&**"!"
Time to confess. I chose to call myself out! You all are smart people. You probably knew in the beginning I was talking about myself!
Of course I'm not going to name any names unless it is myself. I could say the name of my caregiver, Glady,
because she was there as well. She was the one that
was told the information.
Honestly, she couldn't believe her ears. She said she really was about to say something.
A few moments later, due to my delayed reaction, (
Remember I had mentioned before one of the things with my MS is since the muscles are distorted it takes a while for the message to get to my brain. ) Oh, but once it came, Glady
said that my face looked so surprised and very hurt. I would add the word discouraged beyond belief!
Glady later told me what she said1 it kind of made her tear up. To be discouraging her friend like that and playing God! Oh no she did not like that!

I appreciated Glady for showing how much she cared. However, like I said before I wanted to remain civilized so I didn't say anything. I am pretty sure if she said something it would be really mean, and well deserved. I also think, perhaps a few cuss words
or maybe more
would be added in the mix! Most probably like you people when someone hurts your loved ones like that, prepare for Wrath! So, yeah good thing she didn't say anything.

I just wanted to forget about what she said. And, let that act like a motivator for myself to prove her wrong!
Moral of this writing is this. First of all never let anyone's very harsh and discouraging words get to you or ever make you wan to fall so far down.
Don't let them make you want to give up! Never let anyone especially not one person who is supposed to help you negatively tamper with your self-esteem!
Come to think of it maybe the Lord allowed what he allowed because of this. Those words said by the person now pushes me to be the best I can be while having MS.
Most importantly, the drive to prove that person wrong just went into over-drive!!!
