Before I post the writing this morning, I want to start out with some shoutouts to some very cool people I met yesterday, Friday at Starbucks!
Crap ! I hate it when that happens! Somebody told me the name and then i forget it because something else happened!
So, I will definitely mention the names of the people I remember. Other people I forgot I am so sorry! If you ever see me again please stop and be mad at me for forgetting your name. :X
Well, I remembered someone picked up something I droppe ( I think my eyeliner cover ) on the floor early in the am. Then I remember I kept staring at the straws. And, imagining myself walking and getting one. Then this guy John was standing at the coffee fixing station and probably saw my facial expression.
And, he nicely asked me if he can help me with something. And then, I said yeah would you please give me a straw? Cool beans!
Then later on in the afternoon, Glady was sitting on the other side of me but I was trying to re-touch my lipstick and of course I dropped it on the other side of me! This nice man Arjun got it for me! Of course, I offered him my card and his two other friends John and Justin! Thanks again to all I met this day for helping me with something and accepting my card! I pray you all will be encouraged by the writings! And, enjoy the weekend!
My mom is a pretty cool mom. Whenever my hubby, Joe and I don't really have food in our kitchen or actually even if we have a lot of food already in our kitchen. My mom almost always during the times they come over, a couple times a week. They would bring food, buy food at the near grocery store, or mostly bring the ingredients and cook some homemade Filipino delicacies!
Last week I was pleasantly surprised because of this. Well, first of all let me explain when what happened last week. Nothing big. Just remember I told you guys that I don't like tomatoes or maybe I said it in my cooking show?
Well, I do like those little red tomatoes that I can eat all of it in one bite. Usually they had them like if you buy a salad at the restaurant or something. Those are quite yummy! I can tolerate those.
I don't know I'm weird like that. :)
Anyway, back to my mom. My parents came to the condo last week and mom was listing off all the food that she brought. She even told me she brought me those small tomatoes. My mom doesn't really express her feelings a lot unlike my dad. But I understood that she listened to what I was saying. So, when she did let me know by getting me the tomatoes that I like.

Just a side note. My mom has the same love language as my husband. And I have the same one similar to my dad. Joe and my mom have the same love language- the acts of service. So, by doing things for other people that is their way of expressing their love! I've said it before, if you haven't found out what your love language is...
With the way that technology is nowadays oh, I'm pretty sure you can easily find it out online! Just Google it and take the test so you can find out! It would help relationships tremendously! That was just a side note.
Going back to my writing for the day, what comes to mind is this. Well, it was pretty cool that my mom really listened to me when I said I like a certain type of tomato. And, I also am grateful and think it's pretty cool that God listens when ever we call out to him! Don't you guys and gals think that's pretty rad?

Psalm 66:17-20
I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!
1 John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
John 9:31
We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.
Matthew 21:22
And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 John 5:15
And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
