It's Not Enough

I want to begin this morning's reading with a story.Well, more like a quick memory. More like a memory the Lord made me remember for this reading. Yeah, that's what I mean.

I kind of feel Like I may have even shared this story before. I guess there's somebody out there who didn't hear it before. Maybe probably need to hear it now? I don't know? That could be how God works sometimes. It's possible!

It was a few years ago. I had a doctor's appointment with this new lady doctor.  Honestly, I can't even remember her name. And, I don't even think the company still exists. Well, that's weird.

Anyway, I do remember one thing this doctor said to me. She said, " He (pointed her finger up to the sky) has a place saved for you up there). She ended by closing her eyes and bowing down her head.  It was like this little Indian woman doctor turned psychic and just like God knew the future!

Um, again weird.  Of course, Samantha had no reply.  Just had some smiling and nodding of my head. The Dr. didn't know that internally I was thinking while nodding my head "Oh yes this woman really needs God!"

I really hope that's not how anyone feels about anyone else. Because, friends we don't know. We are not gonna know if that serial killer you heard about from another state repented from what he or she did and accepted God right before they died. 

We don't know if that so called Godly man or woman was really a true born again Christian.  What if the whole time they were on Earth, it was all a fake mask?  What if they never even believed in Jesus as the son of God!

My dear friends.  Understand this. Every single one of us sin. Yes, Sam is part of "us," I know I sin. I am a sinner that needed a savior! 

Jesus became my savior!  And, I am so thankful for that. What about you guys? Do you guys believe in Jesus?  I am pretty sure that when I get to heaven I'm gonna be super surprised!  Are you gonna be one of the people that surprise me?
