What Are We Living For? (Freddie Mercury)

I once read something very interesting.  I think you guys will find it interesting too. Maybe you guys have heard about this? Maybe not? 

Well, for you young ones, ask your parents.

It's about lead singer, Freddie Mercury, lead singer of the rock group Queen. In one of his last songs Freddie Mercury asked the question,  "  Does anybody know what we are living for?" I know right! Wow! This man was so well known and had so many riches.

Despite,all of that he did admit in an interview shortly before his death in 1991 that he was desperately lonely. He said, ‘You can have everything in the world and still be the loneliest man, and that is the most bitter type of loneliness." 

Wow, that is a good example of gaining the whole world and still feeling lonely.  He is not the only celebrity I heard of that has taken their own life due to feeling empty.

"There is only one relationship that is completely loving and ongoing, and for which we were created. Without that relationship there will always be a deep sense of aloneness and a lack of ultimate meaning and purpose.

At the heart of the Christian faith is this relationship with God where we find what we are living for." ( Nicky Gumbel-1 Year bible)

Wow,  friends unfortunately that is the sad truth.  The only way to make it the happy truth is to invite  Jesus to live in your life And except him as your personal  Lord and saviour!  Have you done that yet?

In closing, I just want to say what you all probably already know.  And, that is this.  The Times we are living in now have been very unpredictable. Some people think the end is near. Some people don't think that way.  Personally what do I think? I really have no idea. God the father is the only one who knows  When the final Day will be. The job of us humans is to just Be ready!

 I really don't think you want to gain a hold but then lose your soul. Toby Mac even wrote a song about it!
