Let me begin my writing this morning with a question. And, that is this. Do you think it's time? What I mean is do you think it's time to do the right thing? Let me also add dun dun dun (cue Scary NOISE)
Personally, of course, I always think it's time to do the right thing. What I mean is that I think it is always time to always do the right thing. However, I know that I don't always do what I think. I am thinking things are better thought than done!)
You know what story is immediately coming to my mind? I love this story. It is the story of Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego. A story that is definitely better thought and better done. I am pretty certain I have shared their story in past writings.
However, for those who have forgotten this story? Or, for those of you who never heard this story, I don't mind sharing it again. 1st off, it is just such an awesome story! And, second? We definitely should be reminded of how faithful these 3 men were. Is there something you know you should be doing to display your faithfulness to Go] but you are not doing it?
Long long ago in a land far far away lived the king of the Babylonians. King Nebuchadnezzar.

Long long ago in a land far far away lived the king of the Babylonians. King Nebuchadnezzar.
King Neb Commanded the People of Babylon to bow down and honor the King's image. He could see that everyone was doing it. Everyone was doing it except for 3 men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The king was furious! He confronted the 3 men.
They told him they will never bow down and worship anyone else except the God they worship!
King Neb was so enraged with so much anger. He told his men to throw the 3 men into a fiery furnace. The king made sure that it was extra fiery particularly for these 3 men. The king's men were burned and died because of the hot flames.
To the king's surprise.....

I am not going to tell the full story. I suggest checking it out in the Bible. It's in the book of Daniel chapter 3. Great an encouraging story!
Elevation Worship: Faithful
Daniel is a great example for each of us, faithfulness to the Lord and His faithfulness to us. Easier said then done but He is there to give you strength.
ReplyDeleteAmen! It's so nice To be reminded Of his Faithfullness! Then I remember that I need to work on my own!
