Tongue Series Part 1: Introduction-The Power In Words

I am excited to write this series. I really hope and pray The Lord would bless me with the words He wants me to write about that He knows needs to be in readers' minds  and hearts when the tongue is in high action!

I want to begin by giving the realization that there is power in the words we choose to utilize. Do you believe that?  I hope so! In this series, I plan to begin with part 1: power in your words, then follow with anger in the voice, how important tone is, praise in your voice, the importance of volume, oops I didn't mean to say that, and lastly God will help you control your tongue.  Let's dive in!

When you are speaking to someone, I would think we don't put much thought in the words we say correct? Well, I think we should and in a perfect world we would be able to.  But, guess what folks we don't live in a perfect world, so then what? Well,  then nothing!? We talk and talk and talk to people and sooner or later we are definitely going to use some negative or hurtful word that will tick someone off.  That is just reality.   And, if you don't know that, I hope you do now....

The word "Power" is truly a fitting way to describe exactly what truly encompasses and lives in the term "words." You know what I mean? And, that power can range from being good to bad. Please understand that I don't mean to say there is a sort of magic in "word." No, I don't mean that if you say "Abracadabra....Poof whatever you want will appear. I mean whatever words that the tongue chooses to spit out will have a powerful effect on someone.........
