He Used Me!

I get up early.  I used to hate it.  I used to get up at at least 11:00 and I only got up early if I had to.  Why do I get up so early you say?  I blame it on God. Hehe. Not in a bad way.  When I say I get up early, I am talking 3 or 4 am.  The Lord decides to wake me up to start my day reading his word or maybe people I know need prayer.  My friends who see me in the morning and during the day are amazed at how refreshed I look with only 5-6 hours of sleep. See The Lord knew to wake me up early, cuz that's really mostly the time I have energy.  Energy to shower, do my exercises and stretching for MS. You know I don't even have an alarm that wakes me up.  I told you God just does.  Sometimes He even wakes me up in the middle of the night and a person pops in my mind, maybe someone from grade school, and I feel like praying for this person. So, I am up for a few seconds and fall right back asleep.

I have a confession to make. The whole waking up early and praying for people and stuff might just entirely be my fault.  What I mean is,  see I asked God to use me. Yup, I told him, something like, " Alright Lord, I am yours right? So, go ahead and use me, even if it's not convenient or comfortable for me.  Because, I know whatever you decide to have me do, you will give me the strength!" Friends, I have been doing this waking up early thing for almost 10 years!

When i told medical people of how little sleep I get like my MS Dr or my PT. They never said anything so I assumed it was fine. I was told as long as I felt rested that was all that mattered. :)

Well, The Lord was definitely listening to what I said.  And, The Lord made due on my prayer. If you are a true believer in Christ, is your heart making you feel like asking God to use you? I challenge you to ask Him and wait and see what He will have you do! I know you might not like the answer and you may not feel like you wanna do it.  But, take it from me he will give you all the strength and you will end up loving what The Lord has for you!

Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.y
