Raven's Gift To Ate Sam

Just a little more than a month ago I mentioned I was away on the west coast due to some family affairs and celebrating the birth of Christ with my Vegas family. It really was some fun times seeing family I don't see on a regular basis.

One of a few  major highlights of my trip happened the night before I left California. I remember coming back to my Uncle's home where most of my family were. And, I remember sitting in the kitchen when Raven, who at the time was 10 but now 11 year old cousin reached out and gave me something. I said, " ooh. what's this?" She said in the cutest voice, " It's a flower. I made it for you." I am such a softy so I teared up with joy! Lol she made it from her little contraption where she created it out of colorful bead type things you iron on to keep it together.  What a talented girl! Lol, that's the best way I can think to explain it.  Anyway, it was her gift to me.  And, I love it like I love little Raven!

It made me think of Gods gift to all. God suffered and died for us and that's His gift to us! He just wants us to reach out and grab it! just believe! That's it! God will do the rest on your heart. Watch and see!  Little Raven melted my heart when she gave me the flower she made me. That was so thoughtful of her huh? I decided to let Jesus come live in my heart. He gave us the best gift ever! And, He is waiting for you to accept it! There may be those of you who never even heard about God, never even met Jesus, but Jesus doesn't care if it's the first time you met. He wants you to know about the gift He has for you and that is Him dying on the cross for you and me!

James 1:17 ESV
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Ephesians 2:8 ESV
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

Romans 6:23 ESV
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
