We Need Church Series Part 1: Introduction

To be honest, I initially thought that we really didn't need to go to church. I mean, we could sleep in, and when we wake up we have church on TV or we can jump on the computer and Google a nice message we could hear. Right? Wrong oh so wrong! Before I got saved, I wasn't really reading the word of God. I felt that the speaker of the message at the time had a higher up rank with God than I did. So, if I just laid back and just listened once a week to the word of God, I was cool. But, now that I am saved, I know there is no such thing as a person with greater faith and more clout with God,or even have a higher up rank to God. I see and read about what He says in his word about church and why we do need it. Let me include that it doesn't say verbatim God says we need church, but I will share my thoughts from how I comprehend his words, through context in particular. Wow, I was missing a lot that God really just wants for my own good! I hope you keep reading to find out my deep thoughts about why God says we need church. Maybe, it will encourage and interest you? I'm excited to write this series! Are all you readers ready and excited to read my thoughts?! :)

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
