Do You Ask?

Being a follower of God now, I ask Him for about any need I have.  One would probably get tired of hearing my voice sometimes.  However, I think God actually likes to hear our voices. Because, when we have a relationship with someone and that's what God wants to have with us, then there has to be some sort of communication between us right? So, I give props to God for taking my vulgar language and complaints along with the good sayings and praise words he hears from me.

I made the title of my writing for the day do you ask? Friend, if we don't ask God what we need then how will we know what he decides to do. There's a humongous chance he may say no and not give us what we ask for and what we need. However,  if you think about it what if he says yes? God is God, so Duh, He actually already knows all we need, so my thinking was why do we always need to ask right?  Well, let me share my thoughts and that is the reason we need to ask is because that's what he says in his word he wants us to do. Remember that God is not like that of Santa Clause. God just wants and likes to hear our voice (awwww) and like I said what if he decides to answer that need? We will never know unless we ask!

Jesus said, "In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:9–11). Jesus taught that we are to approach God with our needs. -Greg Laurie

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. (‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬ ESV)

You do not have because you do not ask (James 4:2)
