Sometimes when I end up meeting up again with someone I literally just met once or a few times like a new doctor or acquaintance or someone like that and they remember my name it really surprises me, Joe always tells me, " who can forget you!?" I say, .....yeah right. Lol He says, " Seriously, that is one of the things I loved about you when I was first getting to know you, that you are so friendly, personable, and easy to talk to."
You know who I think is easy to talk to? God is! Friends, there's someone who knows our names and never forgets! There was a song we used to sing a lot in church services. It goes, " He knows my name. He knows my every thought. He sees each tear that falls and hears me when I call. " That is truly beautiful!
Let me end with a story: One time one of my Pace drivers picked me up who I haven't seen in years. He said that he remembered me. This was before, I was using my walker and I said. " yeah the pink cane is pretty memorable. He said, " No it's not that. There's just a certain presence about you.I said, "Oh, that's the glory of God shining all around me!"
